Hello everyone! I'm so happy to be bringing you blog number TWO! It has been an awesome week here in Manhappiness. I've gotten to meet some new guests in my chair, as well as spend time with my 'regulars' catching up after all of the holiday craziness.
It seems like no matter how many women I meet, there is one big challenge they all face with their hair wardrobe. CURLS! A signature hair 'outfit' to have in your bag of tricks. I hear so many struggles from how to hold the curling iron, managing all the hair, and after all the struggle & time; the curls just fall out, or worse you're left looking like Shirley Temple. I say no more!
My next few tutorials are all going to be 'curl' focused. Call it a Curl Bootcamp! Over the next few weeks, I will break down the process and help you get a curl routine so, with practice, your curls will be looking fab.
I'll help you troubleshoot the challenges that come with curling by teaching you tried & true sectioning, different curling iron(and wand!) techniques, how to vary your look with barrel size, and the right products to help your look stay flawless all day.
On this snowy day we are talking about 'Beachy Waves'. Maybe I'm ready for some sunshine? This is a super common style and easy, everyday look. I love this curl style because it is so naturally pretty; undone in the best way. It is a go-to of mine and transitions seamlessly into day two hair(day three & four too?!). This makes it a no brainer during the work week when you need to get out the door in a hurry. Even when you're not playing touch-up, these curls are easy on your schedule. The unedited run time of the tutorial below was only ten minutes! That was with me teaching about curling while curling, so even with multitasking this was a fairly quick style. Check it out below!
I hope this has helped you all feel a little more confident to go out and practice beachy waves. If you have any questions please comment or message me, and I would love to help you out. Sometimes changing up a tool or adding the right product is all the change needed! Be sure to subscribe to my website down below to stay connected, and follow my social media platforms so you don't miss out on anything. Wishing a safe weekend to all my Kansans in the snow! Blessings to you all until next time!
